Green Pan Kyoto Frypan

Because the Thermolon non-stick surface of the Green Pan Kyoto Frypan is a hard solid surface, it cooks similarly to a straight stainless steel surface. That means you can sear, brown and create fond just like with a traditional pan, but cleaning up is just as easy as Teflon or any of the other petrochemical based non-stick surfaces. Thermolon has good green credentials, being manufactured without PTFE or PFOA, and can be applied at a much lower temperature than Teflon, resulting in 60% less greenhouse gas emissions in its construction. Also owing to the Thermolon surface, your Green Pan Kyoto Frypan can resist heat up to 450°C for short periods, without blistering or releasing any chemical fumes.

The Green Pan Kyoto Frypan has a beautiful classic shape, with high, sloping sides to contain food, and a comfortable ergonomic handle which is comfortable to use for long periods. It's made from recycled aluminium, which provides efficient and even heat conductivity and produces far fewer greenhouse gas emissions than virgin aluminium. Even the stainless steel in the handle is recycled!
